First Patch for 'The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom' Resolves Infamous Quest Blockage and More

Fans of the widely popular “The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom” can now breathe a sigh of relief as the much-awaited first patch for the game has made its grand debut. Although the update, labeled as version 1.1.1, may seem relatively minor on the surface, it carries with it a crucial solution to a problem that has been a major stumbling block for a large number of players: The Closed Door quest.

A Solution to The Closed Door Conundrum

The Closed Door quest has been a point of contention for numerous players. Despite meeting all the conditions necessary to progress, some players found themselves at an impasse, unable to clear the quest. This roadblock was widely reported and acknowledged on Nintendo’s official support website. It’s a problem that, until now, marred what has been an otherwise exceptional gaming experience.

The good news is that the freshly released version 1.1.1 patch has resolved this issue. The inability to proceed with the main quest, even after fulfilling all the required conditions, is now a thing of the past.

The patch notes confirm that the new update effectively resolves this problem, even if players have already run into the issue. As a result, those who had their journey halted at The Closed Door can now resume their quest and enjoy an uninterrupted gaming experience.

A Step Towards Enhanced Gameplay

The version 1.1.1 update isn’t just about The Closed Door quest. Beyond this significant fix, Nintendo has indicated that the patch tackles several other issues as part of a broader initiative to enhance the overall gameplay experience.

While the specific issues addressed have not been explicitly outlined, it’s clear that Nintendo is committed to continually refining and improving the game to ensure an optimal gaming journey for its players.

However, one conspicuous issue that remains unaddressed is the recently discovered duplication glitch. This allows players to infinitely duplicate any resource that can be combined with an arrow, thus creating an opportunity for players to amass a considerable fortune of rupees. This bug is yet to be tackled, suggesting that players still have time to take advantage of this glitch.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has been nothing short of a phenomenon since its release just over a week ago. The game, which we described as a ‘masterpiece’ in our review, has already made quite the splash, having sold in excess of 10 million copies.

With the release of the new patch, fans of the franchise can look forward to an even smoother and more immersive gaming experience, continuing the legacy of this iconic series.
