In a highly anticipated announcement, Ziggurat Interactive and Poppy Works have revealed that the action-packed 2.5D side-scrolling character action game, Slave Zero X, is set to make its grand debut on February 21, 2024.

Gamers across multiple platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and GOG, are gearing up for an epic showdown like no other. But the excitement doesn’t end there; a tantalizing demo is already available for Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC users via Steam.

Slave Zero X takes players on a breathtaking journey through the dystopian Megacity S1-9, ruled with an iron fist and flesh by the Sovereign Khan. Beneath the city’s decaying foundations, a relentless warrior embarks on a mission of vengeance, aimed at none other than Khan himself.

Set four years before the events of the original Slave Zero, this game breathes new life into a world where monstrous living machines, known as Slaves, threaten to become the ultimate weapons in humanity’s long and blood-soaked history.

In the face of this impending doom, a secret group of warriors, aptly named The Guardians, are determined to prevent these biomechanical horrors from being unleashed upon the world.

However, one swordsman among them, driven by a different motive, decides to turn the tables and wield the enemy’s weapon against them. Merging with a stolen Slave Unit Prototype, Shou transforms into a relentless force, hell-bent on toppling a false god.

Key Features:

  1. Killer Combos: Engage in swift swordplay, explosive ordnance, and stylish combos as you battle against an army of both flesh and metal.
  2. Death from Above: Master air juggling, dashes, and frequent target switching to take down foes of all sizes. Utilize wall-jumping and platforming skills to outmaneuver your adversaries.
  3. Fight for Your Life: Conquer mini-bosses, thrilling set pieces, and climactic 1-on-1 encounters, each offering intense challenges against unforgettable villains.
  4. Strength is Nothing Without Control: Fine-tune your combat prowess in the Training Room. Hone precise and powerful moves to string together devastating attack sequences.
  5. Battle to the Beat: Immerse yourself in a 90s-inspired soundtrack featuring heavy drum ‘n’ bass and funky industrial music that adds an electrifying dimension to the combat experience.
  6. Feast Your Eyes: Prepare to be mesmerized by a unique visual aesthetic that seamlessly blends nostalgic 2D sprites with an advanced lighting system and stylized 3D environments.

Slave Zero X

As the release date draws near, gamers worldwide are counting down the days until they can dive into the action-packed world of Slave Zero X. With its intriguing storyline, breathtaking visuals, and dynamic gameplay, this game promises to be a true gaming masterpiece that will leave players on the edge of their seats.

So, mark your calendars for February 21, 2024, and get ready to embark on a journey like no other. The battle for humanity’s future begins soon. Will you be ready?

“Embark on a cyberpunk adventure of rebellion and revenge with our Slave Zero X review. Pilot the deadly biomech, Slave X, through a dystopian megacity, battling against a ruthless dictator. Experience a stylish science fiction story where every slash and shot tells a tale of resistance.”
