In a move that is sure to delight both long-time fans and newcomers alike, Square Enix has announced that the beloved Kingdom Hearts series is making its way to Steam on June 13th. The announcement comes accompanied by a surprising treat – a newly recorded version of the iconic theme song “Simple and Clean” by Hikaru Utada.

The Steam release will encompass the entire Kingdom Hearts saga, allowing PC players to experience the captivating blend of Disney and Final Fantasy worlds that has captured the hearts of millions worldwide. The bundle includes Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX, HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, and Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind DLC, providing a comprehensive collection for both veterans and newcomers.

To celebrate this momentous occasion, Square Enix has unveiled a roughly five-minute trailer that not only showcases the series’ iconic characters and vibrant worlds but also features a fresh rendition of “Simple and Clean.” Utada’s timeless vocals, accompanied by a lush instrumental arrangement, breathe new life into the theme that has become synonymous with the Kingdom Hearts experience.

The Kingdom Hearts

The trailer masterfully sequences the series’ intricate story events in chronological order, offering a visual guide to help players navigate the intricate lore that has captivated fans for nearly two decades. For those seeking a complete package, the Kingdom Hearts Integrum Masterpiece bundle offers all three games in a single purchase.

As an added incentive for fans, purchasers of Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind DLC on Steam will receive an exclusive ‘Dead of Night’ keyblade color, a nod to Steam’s iconic blue and grey logo.

While the Kingdom Hearts series has previously graced the PC platform via the Epic Games Store, its arrival on Steam marks a significant milestone, opening the door for a new wave of players to immerse themselves in the enchanting worlds crafted by Square Enix and Disney.

With the revival of “Simple and Clean” and the promise of an epic journey spanning multiple titles, the Kingdom Hearts series on Steam is poised to captivate both longtime fans and newcomers alike, offering a chance to experience the magic of this beloved franchise in a whole new way.
