Even after playing Luna for several years, Lynch explained she unexpectedly felt a strong desire to “be part of that world” during the viewing. She then remembered with surprise that, through her role, she already was deeply connected to the magical realm. This temporary lapse highlights the profound impact of J.K. Rowling’s “Harry Potter” creations on both dedicated fans and those who brought the characters to the big screen.
Despite some controversy surrounding author J.K. Rowling in recent years, Warner Bros. continues investing heavily in expanding the Wizarding World through new film, television, and theme park projects. An upcoming television adaptation of the original seven “Harry Potter” novels is set to premiere on HBO in 2026. Lynch has also kept the magic alive by lending her voice to the audiobook version of “From the Wizarding World” last year.
