The latest episode of the Disney+ series “Agatha All Along” shocked fans with a big surprise. In the fifth episode that marked the halfway point of the nine-part show, viewers learned the true identity of the mysterious character Teen.
The episode put the characters through a difficult challenge. As part of this test, Agatha accidentally drained another witch named Alice of her magic power. Sadly, this led to Alice’s death. Agatha’s actions made Teen very upset.
When Teen confronted Agatha about Alice, something amazing happened. Teen displayed powers like mind control and energy from his hands. He also grew a fancy crown on his head. Based on these clues, fans believe Teen is actually an older version of Billy Maximoff.
In comic books and the show “WandaVision”, Billy is one of the sons of Scarlet Witch, whose real name is Wanda Maximoff. It’s unclear how Billy came to be in the “Agatha All Along” story. The last time we saw him, Wanda made him disappear at the end of “WandaVision”.
As a demonstration of his strong abilities, Teen or Billy trapped Agatha along with two other witches in a dangerous area near where they were walking. In the past, this same place badly hurt another character. Viewers were left with many questions at the dramatic close of episode five.
Fortunately, some hints suggest Agatha might escape her dire situation. Future promotional materials show she survives. Also, one witch named Rio did not face off with Teen, leaving open the possibility that Rio could help the others.
Fans will have to wait to get answers about Billy/Teen’s full backstory and what happens next for Agatha and her coven. The “Agatha All Along” series continues to thrill audiences with unexpected plot developments at every turn.
