Amazon Prime Video is set to explore the untold mysteries of Sherlock Holmes’ youth with a new series titled “Young Sherlock.” The streaming giant has officially ordered an eight-episode season, tapping Hero Fiennes Tiffin to take on the lead role of the iconic detective and enlisting the directorial talents of Guy Ritchie.
Based on the collection of novels by Andrew Lane, “Young Sherlock” promises to offer an “irreverent, action-packed origin story” of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s beloved detective.
