While the reviews of Stray on Steam are overwhelmingly positive, there are quite a few people who disagree with the general praise of the cyberpunk cat adventure. The length of the adventure game is one of the most frequently cited drawbacks.

As a matter of fact, when looking at the negative reviews on Steam, the subject of Stray’s overall length comes up quite often. Some people completed the game in 6, others in 5 hours, and the record-holders needed only 4 hours. Some think it’s far too short an adventure for $29.99.
“I’ll get straight to the point. This game is 100% not worth its price with 4 hours of simple gameplay and storyline. However, I admit that the cats are cool,” – wrote one user.
“Great game, I like it…. However, I was hyped for this game for a long time and…. I finished it in 6 hours, while finding all the collectibles. There is no point in replaying the game either.” – complains another.
For our editors at Gazettely, it took more than 10 hours to complete Stray. But we must admit that we looked into almost every corner looking for collectibles or hidden side quests.
