2K Games celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Mafia series. To mark this special occasion, the publisher has decided to make a gift to all Steam users.
And for a limited time, a first – original – installment of the popular series will be available on the said platform completely free of charge.
It is worth noting at this point that Mafia from 2002 will be given away for free, not its remake, which was released in 2020 and titled Mafia: Definitive Edition.
Of course, The original is a weaker quality of visuals, slightly archaic gameplay and so on. Despite this, it is worth owning it in your collection.
A special offer will be in effect between September 1 and September 5. It is during this time that you will download the first Mafia on Steam completely for free.
After that period the game will be available for a fee. Make sure to take advantage of the promotion and remember that the next part of the Mafia series is already in the pipeline, as the developers have confirmed.
