The latest HBO hit Max has crossed another threshold. The second episode of “House of the Dragon” was seen by a total of 10.2 million viewers on HBO’s platform and TV channel.
Meanwhile, the series’ premiere episode has already recorded nearly 25 million views in the US after a week on the streaming service.
The figures come from official reports from HBO and analyst firm Nielsen. Curiously, original “Game of Thrones” has also begun to enjoy greater popularity, with regular increases in the series’ viewership for the past eight weeks.
The two titles set in the same universe are the most watched productions on the HBO Max service. That’s why it is hardly surprising that the second season of “Family of the Dragon” has been ordered already.
