During this year’s Gamescom, Relic Entertainment’s team had to take part, all because less than 3 months remain until the release of their latest game. In new gameplay trailer, we can see different ways of playing while exploring the campaign.

On Nov. 17, enthusiasts of the genre will be able to step onto the Mediterranean and North African fronts of World War II to engage in fierce battles. Upcoming installment of Company of Heroes, the biggest item developed by the studio, will be marked by new systems and features, such as an active pause.

From the beginning of the development process, however, an emphasis was placed by the studio on realism and impressive building destruction, which we were able to trace on previously released gameplay footage.

The Gamescom 2022 turned out to be a good opportunity to present one more feature of the production and we will be able to play “in our own style” in Company of Heroes 3. Game director David Littman described in detail the assumptions adopted.

Standing up to the struggle in Italy, we’ll experience an open world and numerous branching gameplay, whereas the operation in Africa will bring a more linear and narrative-centered experience.

Company of Heroes 3 will feature 4 factions, new mission types, we will also be able to test the mechanics of towing and recovering enemy vehicles in action.
