Late last month, the Frogwares studio announced a remake of the Sherlock Holmes The Awakened game released in 2006. This time the developers have returned to present players with a trailer for the project.
With the release of the trailer, a Kickstarter campaign has been launched. Developers plan to raise just under 329K. Already they have managed to raise more than 200 thousand, so they should rather not have a problem with it.
What is its story about?
Cast yourself into a mad adventure in the spirit of Lovecraft’s story, re-created in the spirit of modern graphics and gameplay elements.
Step into the shoes of Sherlock Holmes, whom fate throws into the heart of the foul mythology of Cthulhu, compelling him to investigate a series of mysterious disappearances across Europe and the United States.
Crossover in which Sherlock Holmes confronts madness in Lovecraft’s rendition, THE AWAKENED is the story of a series of mysterious disappearances, supposedly having to do with a dark cult that worships an ancient god. Regardless of what their plan is, you have to stop them…. or face untold consequences for your tardiness.
This is the first time in his life that Sherlock is truly afraid of something. The man who uses reason and common sense must face a being who defies all laws of logic.

The remake of Sherlock Holmes The Awakened is heading to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC. The release will take place in 2023.
