Petroglyph Games, the developers of Command & Conquer Remastered, together with publisher Foundry Games revealed their new title The Great War: Western Front for the first time yesterday at the Future Games Show at Gamescom 2022.
Set in the First World War (1914-1919), this strategy game lets you act as a commander twice: While battles on the Western Front itself take place on dynamic battlefields in real time and you give orders directly to your units.
You plan your action on the further course of the war on a strategic level turn by turn ( for example troop movements, supply or research).
The soundtrack for the game will be provided by the composer Frank Klapecki, well-known among Command & Conquer fans.
The reveal trailer published in conjunction with the announcement gives you a first visual impression of the strategy title.
The Great War – Western Front is scheduled to be available for PC on Steam and the Epic Games Store in 2023. Watch the trailer below and let us know what do you think about this new strategy game.
