Overwatch 2, despite great criticism, is highly successful and is still a title that tens of millions of players look up to. The game’s developers have now unveiled the story of their newest character.
Since Blizzard has always been famous for creating beautiful CGI, with the Overwatch brand the company has gone a step further and built the entire narrative on such videos, cutting it out entirely from the game itself, somewhat forcing the more curious players to turn to other sources – such as YouTube.
With the release of Overwatch 2.0, the team has decided to continue its work, and now a new character – Kiriko – has joined the phenomenal series of hero videos.
Her story is genuinely moving, intriguing, coolly written and directed, something that is of great importance in such short films.
