Talking weapons, faraway planets and plenty of humor – these phrases should best describe High on Life, which will make its debut on Xbox and PC next month. Xbox Game Pass subscribers will also be acquainted with the cosmic production.
High on Life’s release is in 21 days, so we might suspect that the developers are focusing on polishing the title.
Squanch Games had additional weeks to polish the game, though it’s no secret that December is a much better date for the release of a new IP.
The team decided to postpone the release of the item from November, as they didn’t want to compete with the much-anticipated God of War Ragnarok and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
The editors of GameSpot presented a long excerpt of gameplay from High on Life – it is as much as 25 minutes of exploration and fighting with successive hordes of enemies. During the material you can hear a whole lot of dialogues spoken by weapons.
Squanch Games is the studio founded by Justin Roiland, who is one of the creators of the “Rick and Morty” animation, therefore we can expect abstract humor and unconventional plot solutions from the adventure heading to market.
In the video, we will follow the main character as he destroys a small town, whilst listening to the dialogues of the last surviving resident.
