Only five days were enough for the free Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 to attract more than 25 million users all over the world.
Results were shared on the series’ official Twitter account. No further information was provided. Production is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
The first installment of the free-to-play battle royale also boasted impressive results: six million downloads in 24 hours, fifteen million in three days and fifty million in one month.
However, as can be seen, direct comparison is not possible. Particularly since “One” made its debut in March and at the very beginning of the global lockdowns.
In spite of its release, there is no shortage of major and minor problems in Warzone 2.0. Players complain, inter alia, of the return of invisible players, while new ” tidbits” appear regularly on the web – which shouldn’t be surprising, considering such a large number of “testers”.

Among other things, yesterday’s popular post on Reddit included a post by a player who received a token guaranteeing double experience points for a period of…. one year.
“Turn it on before it’s gone,” – other users advised, while revealing another problem. “But since you can’t check if you have any tokens already turned on, I wish you good luck in determining if it has even started up.”
It is worth recalling that two installments of Warzone will soon be available on the market simultaneously. As per the schedule revealed by Activision some time ago, first Warzone will soon turn into Warzone: Caldera and it will be relaunched as early as November 26.
Weapons, progress and equipment of Warzone 2 will closely follow what will be happening in Modern Warfare 2.
Warzone Caldera, meantime, Warzone Caldera will remain a separate production, featuring content from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019), original Warzone, Black Ops Cold War and Call of Duty: Vanguard.
