Cyberpunk 2077 has gone a very long way and has received a number of improvements, which were appreciated by PC gamers.

The enthusiasts of the futuristic Night City not only give the production good ratings, but have decided to nominate it for this year’s Steam Awards.

The winter sale on Valve’s platform will begin tonight, however the community is already encouraged to cast votes in the Steam Awards.

Earlier, the fans were able to nominate individual titles in 11 categories and, curiously, Cyberpunk 2077 was among them, which will be in contention for one award.

The CD Projekt RED production can no longer compete for the title of Game of the Year or the item distinguished by the Most Innovative Gameplay, but players singled out Cyberpunk 2077 for the “Fruit of Love” award.

Organizers emphasize that the award does not go to an item that has recently debuted, but is supported for a very long time by its creators:

“FRUIT OF LOVE

No news from this game, and the members of the team behind it have been thinking about their child’s debut for a long time. But that the parents of them for a medal, they continue to support it, releasing new updates after all these years.”

Cyberpunk 2077 has incredibly strong competitors, since it will face the following titles: Dota 2, Project Zomboid, No Man’s Sky and Deep Rock Galatic.

Valve’s online game and the space adventure from Hello Games may prove to be a particularly big threat, but there is no doubt that the nomination seems a significant honor. Players recognize the efforts of CD Projekt RED.
