Ah, those glorious days when we are free from the drudgery of work or school. When the world outside is bustling with activity, but we have the luxury of staying in the comfort of our own homes. Unless, of course, we have pressing obligations or have planned a grand celebration. But for those of us who simply wish to indulge in some good old fashioned gaming, we have a treat for you.

In this article, Gazettely has scoured the depths of the gaming world to bring you 15 games that are sure to keep you entertained for the standard eight hours. Imagine a world where you can lose yourself in epic battles, solve mind-bending puzzles, or explore breathtaking landscapes all from the comfort of your own home. So, without further ado, let the gaming begin!

Why Short Video Games Are A Perfect Choice?

When you think of video games, you might conjure up images of epic adventures spanning countless hours, like the vast open world of Skyrim or the intricate puzzle-solving of Zelda. Or perhaps you envision yourself locked in fierce online battles, dedicating endless hours to staying on top of the competition.

But let’s be real, as an adult with a demanding job or a busy family, committing to such time-consuming gaming experiences can feel like an impossible task. That’s why I propose a different kind of gaming experience: the joys of short video games.

Short video games offer the perfect solution for those with limited time to spare. They’re bite-sized chunks of gaming goodness that can be devoured in a single night or over the course of a weekend. And let me tell you, some of my most memorable gaming experiences have come from these compact titles.

From the heart-wrenching narrative of “To the Moon” to the fast-paced action of “Hotline Miami”, short video games pack a punch when it comes to storytelling, gameplay and emotional impact. They prove that size doesn’t always matter, and that a game doesn’t need to be a time sink to be truly great.

So next time you’re looking for a new gaming experience, don’t overlook the power of a short game. You might be surprised at just how much you can enjoy in such a compact package.
