Microsoft Intends To Have a Showcase in Late January

Xbox plans to broadcast an Xbox showcase later this month, featuring titles such as Redfall, Forza Motorsport and Minecraft Legends.

Windows Central reporter Jez Corden, even gives a date and time for the event, titled Xbox Developer_Direct: According to him, it will start on Wednesday, January 25 at 9pm local time.

Quoting “several sources familiar with Microsoft’s plans,” Corden explains that the Developer_Direct would focus on games from Xbox Game Studios and Bethesda, providing an “intimate” look at “important” 2023 first-party titles.

Among them would be Arkane Studios‘ Redfall, the new Forza Motorsport from Turn 10, and Minecraft Legends from Mojang, along with “unspecified” Zenimax Online Studios content (which could be for Fallout 76 and/or The Elder Scrolls Online).

However, Corden says that Microsoft and Bethesda’s most anticipated 2023 exclusive, Starfield, wouldn’t be present at this January showcase, since it would have “more of a marketing presence later on,” probably with an event of its own.

With a little more than two weeks to go before this supposed event, if Windows Central’s information is confirmed, it would most likely be officially announced by Microsoft in the coming days.

A few hours ago, indeed, one of Redmond’s company spokesmen, Aaron Greenberg, stated on Twitter that “this week is going to be fun”.
