Activision, the publisher of Crash Team Rumble, recently shared details about the upcoming game’s Season Pass, assuring fans that the vast majority of the game’s content will be available for free.
While the Season Pass will offer cosmetic items such as unique skins, emotes, cosmetic add-ons, banners, and victory music, it will not affect the gameplay in any way.
Prior to the game’s official launch in June, players will have the opportunity to participate in open beta tests to get a sneak peek at some of the game’s features.
Many fans were concerned that the game would be laden with microtransactions, but Activision has made it clear that the Season Pass will be the only paid content, and even then, it will only offer cosmetic items.
“We want every player to have a fantastic experience playing Crash Team Rumble,” said the game’s developers. “New heroes and abilities will be earned through in-game challenges, not by purchasing a Battle Pass.”
This means that all new heroes and abilities can be unlocked through regular gameplay, and players will not be required to purchase the Season Pass.
However, for those who want to add a little extra flair to their gameplay, the Season Pass will provide a range of cosmetic items that allow players to customize their characters.
It’s worth noting that the most important content that could potentially affect gameplay will be available for free. This means that fans can enjoy the full Crash Team Rumble experience without having to pay for any additional content.
Overall, the Season Pass for Crash Team Rumble offers fans the option to add cosmetic items to their gameplay experience, while the vast majority of content is available for free.
With the developers emphasizing that new heroes and abilities can be unlocked through in-game challenges, fans can rest assured that they won’t need to spend any extra money to enjoy the game to its fullest.
