A thrilling new epoch is on the horizon for Fortnite fans, promising to take the gaming experience to a new level of excitement. Brace yourselves for “Fortnite Wilds,” the brand-new season in Chapter 4 Season 3.

It brings along a wave of map alterations and fresh content, fueling the game with an untamed touch. What’s more? It’s coming up fast, set to be launched across all platforms.

Mark Your Calendars: Fortnite Wilds Chapter 4 Season 3 Release Date

Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest live stream set the gaming community abuzz by announcing the release date of Fortnite Wilds. Gear up for Friday, June 9, 2023, when this wild and untamed season hits gamers worldwide.

If it follows the trend of recent Chapter 4 seasons, expect to indulge in this exhilarating journey for roughly three months before a fresh season takes over.

If you were a fan of the Chapter 2 season, Primal, then Fortnite Wilds will be right up your alley. In Primal, players experienced a more raw and wild version of the island, which had been overtaken by wildlife. Fortnite Wilds takes a leaf out of Primal’s book, weaving a similar theme as hinted by the new reveal trailer.

What’s Cooking in Fortnite Wilds Season 3?

The preview gives us a tantalizing glimpse of what’s in store for Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3. The ‘Wilds’ season plans to shake things up with significant alterations to the island, including a large crater that stands out prominently on the map.

This crater, vast and full of fascinating ruins, temples, and structures, creates a sense of rugged wilderness. The untamed vibe of the island also marks the much-awaited return of velociraptors from Chapter 2. The trailer gives a sneak peek of a squad of players mounting these creatures, suggesting that players will have the opportunity to tame these prehistoric beasts and make them their pets yet again.

While it remains unclear whether other animals will be introduced to the battle royale besides the raptors, new characters are set to debut on the island. The most unexpected crossover is none other than Optimus Prime from the Transformers universe.

Optimus Prime Enters Fortnite Wilds

In sync with the summer blockbuster film, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, Optimus Prime, and possibly other characters, are about to crash land into Fortnite Wilds. As of now, the brave leader of the Autobots is the only confirmed character from the franchise, but one can’t rule out the appearance of other characters such as Megatron.

The trailer provides a glimpse of Fishstick firing Optimus Prime’s cannon, suggesting that a new limited-time weapon could be added to this season’s arsenal.

Epic Games has already teased some of the characters for the new Fortnite Wilds Battle Pass, including a tiger version of Meowscles, an Ultron-like robot character, and more.

With Friday, June 9, 2023, not far off, players don’t have long to wait to dive into this exciting new season.
