THQ Showcase 2023

Delving into the Highlights

Let’s take a moment to relish the remarkable highlights from our 2023 stream:

South Park

For those who’ve been curious since our teaser from last year’s event, wonder no more. We are overjoyed to reveal our collaboration on South Park. In 2024, immerse yourself in the quirky world of South Park like never before — now in stunning 3D and packed with co-op fun in our brand new game, South Park: Snow Day. Gather a squad of up to three pals and relive the pure joy and magic of a snow day, every child’s winter dream!

Outcast – A New Beginning

Heroes don’t just impact the world; they’re transformed by it. Cutter Slade epitomizes such heroism. In Outcast – A New Beginning, every mission completed and every objective achieved is a stride toward restoring the planet Adelpha’s safety. As you strategically weaken enemy forces by targeting crucial assets and embark on epic quests throughout the realm, you’ll earn the respect and support of the native Talan folks.

Watch the dynamic world evolve around you — flourishing villages brimming with valuable resources, landscapes bursting with vibrant flora, and perhaps, some unexpected companionship from indigenous creatures. Appeal Studios have poured their passion into curating Outcast – A New Beginning to be a captivating journey for PlayStation enthusiasts craving a new, picturesque escapade. With a design intent on immersing you straight into the action, you’ll soon find yourself executing impeccable jet-dodges and wielding formidable abilities. Ready yourself, adventurers; Outcast – A New Beginning is set to dazzle on PlayStation 5.

Alone in the Dark

This year, we’re thrilled to offer you an early glimpse into the mesmerizing performances of our phenomenal stars, David Harbour and Jodie Comer. David Harbour steps into the shoes of Detective Edward Carnby, exuding the rough charm and playful wit of an experienced private detective. On the other hand, Jodie Comer brings to life Emily Hartwood’s deep-rooted determination to protect her uncle and break the curse haunting their lineage.

As the release date for Alone in the Dark approaches, players will have the chance to dive deep into a narrative brought to life by either of these stellar performances. This is more than just a game; it’s a re-envisioning of the legendary title that pioneered the survival horror landscape. For now, enjoy a taste of the experience by trying out our free Prologue, and don’t forget to pre-order on the PlayStation Store to unlock special in-game content.

Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy

Prepare yourselves, adventurers! The realm is facing imminent peril from the cunning Lady Sunny and her relentless clockwork forces. As August 31 looms, the onus falls upon you and your trusted allies to thwart this mechanical menace. We are overjoyed to announce our collaboration with the immensely talented folks at Frozenbyte. Together, we’re ushering in the next thrilling chapter, “Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy,” slated to dazzle both PlayStation 4 and 5 enthusiasts with its hallmark 2.5D puzzle-platform gameplay.

Whether you’re forging ahead solo or joining forces in an intuitive local and online co-op mode, anticipate the unexpected. We’ve injected a fresh twist to the game: puzzles that dynamically adjust based on your party’s size. So, long-time Trine aficionados since its 2009 inception, brace for novel challenges!

Opt for the magical prowess of Amadeus the Wizard, the stealthy agility of Zoya the Thief, or the valiant might of Pontius the Knight. Whichever hero you select, an array of spectacular abilities awaits, further enhanced by our innovative skill quest system. As for the formidable multi-phase bosses? They’ll demand nimble character swaps or synchronized collaboration with your comrades.

Ready to dive in? Pre-orders are up and running. So polish that shield, notch an arrow, and brush up on your enchantments. We eagerly await your valiant stand in “Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy!”

Gothic 1 Remake

Revisit the atmospheric embrace of the Old Camp in the iconic Valley of Mines! Our freshly released trailer for the “Gothic 1 Remake” promises a nostalgic sojourn through this seminal RPG’s legendary locales. Crafted using our in-game engine, every step within the camp evokes vivid sensations — feel the damp earth squish underfoot and inhale the enticing aroma of sizzling scavenger meat.

Alkimia Interactive are pouring their hearts into resurrecting this genre-defining classic, and today, we offer you a fleeting glimpse of the Nameless Hero’s revamped saga.

Designed with cutting-edge hardware in mind, the “Gothic 1 Remake” beautifully balances modernized mechanics while preserving the timeless allure of the original. Whether you’re a newcomer or a seasoned Gothic veteran, this return to the Old Camp promises a captivating experience.

TMNT: The Last Ronin

Unravel the enigma: Who remains as the Last Ronin? In a dystopian New York, ravaged by war, a solitary Turtle arises, fueled by vengeance for the family he once cherished.

Straight from the creative genius behind the iconic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and drawing inspiration from the monumental comic series by Eastman, Waltz, Bishop, Delgado, and the Escorza Brothers, we present: the official gaming odyssey of “TMNT: The Last Ronin,” coming soon to PlayStation 5.

Way of the Hunter

Can’t get enough of these exciting reveals? Well, today is your lucky day! Introducing the newest addition to the immersive realm of “Way of the Hunter” — the “Tikamoon Plains DLC.”

Embark on a riveting safari alongside expert hunter Malachi. Traverse expansive savannahs and lush grasslands, teeming with a diverse array of wildlife. From the regal Egyptian goose to the awe-inspiring lion, every creature is meticulously detailed, offering a breathtaking experience on PlayStation 5.

Wreckreation

If variety is what you crave, Wreckreation promises to deliver! Fancy a track change mid-race? Toss in a couple of challenging ramps or thrilling loop-de-loops. Need to refresh that ride? Dive into the customization suite for a sparkling paint overhaul or even swap to a different car entirely. If that old playlist isn’t pumping up your adrenaline, well, it’s time for a musical revamp.

Wreckreation is the brainchild of arcade racing maestros with legacy ties to epic franchises like Burnout and Need for Speed. Here, you’re granted your very own MixWorld — a vast playground that caters to your every racing, stunt, and crash-induced fantasy. The only constraint? Well, your creativity. And, maybe a bit of teamwork if you want to craft the ultimate experience.

Titan Quest 2

Dark times are upon us as Nemesis, the Goddess of Retribution, weaves chaos into the Threads of Fate, dooming all those who dare to defy her. Are you ready to wield your weapon against a deviant deity and alter destiny to protect your homeland?

The iconic action RPG saga, Titan Quest, is making a grand return to PlayStation 5. Whether you’re a newcomer or a seasoned fan, this brand new chapter invites you to get lost in its intricately designed world. Dive into every hidden corner solo or team up with friends in online co-op. As you navigate this world teeming with wonders, gear up with powerful loot and polish your skills. Remember, a pantheon of formidable adversaries, inspired by Greek legends, awaits your challenge.
