The View will return for its 29th season on September 8, with all six cohosts—Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, Ana Navarro and Alyssa Farah Griffin—back at the table. The daytime roundtable continues in its weekday 11 a.m. slot on ABC, which shared a new promo confirming the date.
In the announcement clip posted to the show’s official accounts, Goldberg tells viewers, “This is why you should always keep coming back to ‘The View,’ because you never know what’s going to happen,” underscoring the show’s pitch heading into fall.
The series returns following its customary late-July break and from its newer home base at Disney’s 7 Hudson Square facility in Manhattan, where audience tickets are distributed through the show’s standard channels.
The program remains a steady performer for the network. Across multiple 2025 ratings snapshots, the show ranked No. 1 among daytime network talk and news series in households and total viewers, and season-to-date averages this spring were up from a year earlier.
The scheduling news follows a summer of online chatter speculating about the show’s future; the official date sets the stage for a routine fall launch with the established panel intact.
