Hot Wheels Unleashed, the acclaimed racing game that captured the hearts of players and critics alike, is gearing up for its highly anticipated sequel. Milestone, the game’s developer, has recently unveiled the trailer for Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged, along with exciting details about the release date and new content.

Expanded Track Selection and Diverse Environments

Building upon the success of its predecessor, Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged promises an even more thrilling experience with over 130 vehicles to choose from. For the first time in the series, players will have the opportunity to ride motorcycles and quads, adding an extra layer of excitement to the game.

The tracks, although fewer in number compared to the previous installment, will be more diverse and captivating. Prepare to explore a wide range of environments, including an enchanting garden where you can race through lush greenery or venture into a sandbox-filled playground.

Master the “Side Slam” and Take Racing to the Next Level

A brand-new mechanic, the “side slam,” has been introduced in Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged. This game-changing feature allows players to strategically knock opponents off the tracks or skillfully maneuver around last-minute obstacles.

In addition, players will now have the ability to execute precise jumps, enabling them to navigate treacherous traps and even soar over rival racers. Of course, the beloved slides and boosts from the original game will also make a comeback, ensuring adrenaline-pumping moments at every turn.

Engaging Single Player Campaign and Thrilling Multiplayer Modes

Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged aims to captivate players with its engaging single player campaign. Prepare to immerse yourself in a story filled with animated cutscenes, centered around four unique characters with distinct personalities and diverse backgrounds.

For fans of multiplayer competition, the game offers cross-play functionality across platforms (excluding Nintendo Switch) and local multiplayer support on split screens, allowing friends and family to join in on the high-octane fun.

Release Date and Pre-Order Bonuses

Hot Wheels Unleashed 2

Mark your calendars! Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged is set to launch on October 19 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Excitement is already building, with the game available for pre-order on the Epic Games Store. Players who decide to pre-order will receive the exclusive Rust and Fast Pack DLC for free, adding extra content and customizations to their Hot Wheels experience.
