Following the success of blockbuster adaptations like Uncharted and The Last of Us, PlayStation Productions is gearing up for its next big-screen venture with Gran Turismo.

Meanwhile, Twisted Metal is set to captivate audiences as the highly-anticipated series on SkyShowtime, a new streaming platform that brings together the content from renowned studios like Paramount, Nickelodeon, Universal, DreamWorks, and Peacock. The new trailer for Twisted Metal takes a deeper dive into the show’s story and introduces its eclectic cast of characters.

In a delightful surprise, Anthony Mackie (known for his roles in Marvel’s Avengers and Falcon and the Winter Soldier) will co-star in Twisted Metal as John Doe, a humorous courier who braves dangerous territories filled with bandits and smugglers while transporting valuable goods in an armored vehicle. This action-packed series promises to deliver a blend of adrenaline-pumping thrills and comedic charm, reminiscent of the beloved Zombieland movies.

The latest trailer also showcases the talents of Nave Campbell (Scream) as Raven and Thomas Haden Church (Spider-Man: No Way Home) as Agent Stone. Additionally, Stephanie Beatriz (Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Charm) takes on a leading role in this exciting new series, which is set to debut on July 27 with episodes lasting approximately 30 minutes.
