According to Lucasfilm executives, the 2024 event—set for August 9-11 in Anaheim—will offer “unprecedented access” to the minds behind the beloved franchise through exclusive content and panels with top creatives.
Kathleen Kennedy, president of Lucasfilm, teased that attendees can expect “surprises galore” related to the past, present, and future of the saga. “We’re ecstatic to reunite with our fans to offer insights into Star Wars unlike anything they’ve seen before,” Kennedy said.
Friday’s Entertainment Showcase is sure to be the wildest night, with potential previews of projects like Skeleton Crew and the highly anticipated Acolyte panel. Fans will get a behind-the-scenes look at Lucasfilm’s groundbreaking Stagecraft technology powering recent productions and the intricate creature design process through Legacy Effects’ panels daily.
On Saturday, Manny Jacinto will provide new character details during his conversation about playing the enigmatic Stranger on Acolyte. Then on Sunday, Vanessa Marshall will reminisce on voicing Hera Syndulla in the beloved Rebels series at the Animation presentation.
No expo would be complete without the legendary John Williams, Harrison Ford, and Frank Oz being honored as Disney Legends on Sunday evening for their indelible marks on the saga.
