The film was her first acting role, where she played Tina Carlyle, a nightclub singer caught up in the crazy adventures of Carrey’s character, Stanley Ipkiss. The story is about Ipkiss, a quiet bank teller whose life changes when he finds a magical mask that gives him cartoon-like skills that can change reality.
Diaz’s words match what Carrey recently said about possibly bringing back the franchise. Carrey stated in an interview with ComicBook.com that he would consider a return to the role, but only under the right conditions. “Oh wow, it needs to be the right idea,” he said. “If someone had the right idea, I suppose,” “It’s not just about the money.”
