Apple TV+ dramedy Shrinking finished production on its third season this week in Los Angeles. Harrison Ford marked the occasion with a heartfelt speech praising the team’s craft and spirit. A recording shared on Apple’s Instagram reel captures the 82‑year‑old calling colleagues “remarkable” as cheers filled the soundstage.
Ford, now an Emmy nominee for his portrayal of irascible therapist Paul Rhodes, joked “I’m not talking to you” when co‑star Jason Segel chimed in mid‑speech, drawing laughter across the set.
Cameras began rolling in early April, four months after Apple formally green‑lit season 3 following strong engagement for the second run. Filming unfolded on the Sony lot and Pasadena streets that double for Riverside Vista, ending three weeks ahead of schedule according to cinematographer John Brawley’s posts.
The wrap reel collected 1.5 million views within 24 hours, while fan hashtags calling for a fourth season trended on X. Showrunner Bill Lawrence told a livestream that writers will “wait and see” before mapping a possible final chapter.
Jessica Williams hinted online that new episodes follow Gaby’s move into leadership and deepen Rhodes’ Parkinson’s storyline with input from medical consultants. Ford later told Entertainment Weekly he would “gladly shave years off my life to stay with this company of players”.
With seven Emmy nominations and rising critical buzz, analysts expect Apple to position season 3 for an early‑summer 2026 launch to anchor its expanding comedy slate.
