New information emerged in September of this year regarding the second part of Joker, to be titled Joker: Folie à Deux.
Unofficial reports say that the sequel to Arthur Fleck’s story, which was announced in early August, will center on Harley Quinn, played by Lady Gaga.
In the meantime, Todd Phillips – the director of the film – released the first photo from the set of Joker 2 and shared the good news.
In a post published on the social network Instagram, Phillips informed that work has already begun on the set of Joker: Folie à Deux.
As mentioned above, also the director shared the first photo from the highly anticipated DC sequel, which many DC fans have been waiting for.
However, in the published photo we can see Joaquin Phoenix, who is returning in the role of the Joker. The whole thing can be found at the bottom of the news.
Sadly, Phillips didn’t reveal any additional details about the production. The information shared so far says that Joker 2 is to be a musical, with much of the film to be set inside Arkham Asylum, a mental hospital familiar from various Batman stories.
