Are you ready for a new batch of blind daters? Netflix is giving us a British version of the hit dating show Love Is Blind! The trailer just dropped for Love Is Blind UK, and it looks like things are about to get weird…in a good way.

Hosted by married couple Emma and Matt Willis, the show will follow the same crazy format as the US version. Thirty singles will try to find love without ever seeing what the other person looks like! They’ll chat in “pods” and hopefully form a real connection. Then, they’ll get engaged…all before laying eyes on each other for the first time outside the pods. Talk about taking a leap of faith!

Emma, known for hosting The Circle UK, kicks off the trailer by asking “Is love blind?” Her singer hubby Matt is also there to help guide people through this strange social experiment. It’ll be interesting to see how Brits handle getting engaged after only talking.

The contestants seem really diverse, from a chicken restaurant owner to a funeral director who plays techno music on the side as a cellist. With people from all kinds of backgrounds, there will definitely be lots of different opinions on love.

Netflix is releasing Love Is Blind UK just like other reality shows, a few episodes at a time. We get the first four on August 7th, then five more the following week. The finale airs August 21st so we can find out who said “I do” at the altar!

This UK series joins other international versions from places like Brazil, Sweden and Japan. It shows that the idea of blind love has struck a chord with people all over. So grab your friends and get ready to obsess over whether these singles will find lasting relationships without ever seeing what the other person looks like. Love Is Blind is coming back – this time with a British accent!
