Demi Moore Celebrates Oscar Night with Family and Comfort Food After Loss

Demi Moore may not have won the Oscar for Best Actress, but she was in high spirits after the ceremony, surrounded by her family and indulging in comfort food. Moore was nominated for her role in The Substance, a performance that earned her widespread recognition during awards season. However, the Oscar went to Mikey Madison for her work in Anora, a film that also garnered multiple wins at the ceremony.

After the Oscars, Moore’s daughter Tallulah shared a cheerful photo of her mom in a bathrobe, holding her dog Pilaf, and enjoying two large trays of French fries. The post simply read, “MY winner.” Scout, another of Moore’s daughters, reposted the image with a tribute, calling her mother the “Queen of my heart.” She also added, “So beyond proud, this woman is nothing but integrity, bright beaming light and love! What grace. I’ve never been more proud to be her daughter.”

Rumer, Moore’s eldest, also expressed her pride on social media, praising her mother for her decades of hard work and talent. “Watching you today, standing in your power, in your brilliance, in the culmination of decades of hard work, resilience, and undeniable talent—I have never been more proud,” Rumer wrote. She went on to highlight Moore’s ability to inspire others, noting, “You are a force.”

Moore’s portrayal in The Substance, where she played a once-famous TV fitness star desperate to revitalize her career, had made her a frontrunner for the Best Actress Oscar. Despite not winning, Moore showed grace during the ceremony, and the camera captured her smiling as Madison gave credit to her fellow nominees.

The following morning, Tallulah posted a tribute to her mom from the Vanity Fair afterparty, saying, “Celebrating my hero, my mama @demimoore last night!” Scout shared a family photo with a heartfelt message, “I’ve never been more proud to be a part of this family.”
