Danny Booko and Nia Sanchez are walking away from “The Valley” after three seasons, ending their run on the Bravo series just as production begins on Season 4.
The couple announced their departure Tuesday night in a joint Instagram statement. “We’re incredibly grateful for this experience, but our priority is protecting our peace and our family,” they wrote, adding that they remain “fully committed to each other and our beautiful children.” They thanked Bravo and signed off “with so much love.”
The exit caps a rough stretch for the pair. Booko, 42, spent much of Season 3 under fire from castmates over his drinking and how he treated Sanchez, 36, during a season that also documented the couple raising four kids together. One flashpoint came when Booko referred to castmate Jason Caperna’s knee injury as a “bum leg,” triggering a heated blowup with Caperna’s wife, Janet. Sanchez defended her husband throughout, even as other cast members raised concerns about his behavior toward her.
Booko addressed the fallout directly in May, posting an apology that called the season “a version of myself that I’m embarrassed by and not proud of.” He cited a mix of stress, alcohol and sleep deprivation, telling Sanchez he never should have taken it out on her.
Their departure marks the second major cast shakeup on the “Vanderpump Rules” spinoff, following Jax Taylor’s exit after Season 2. Taylor stepped away last year citing addiction struggles and off-camera outbursts, saying at the time that his sobriety and coparenting relationship with his son needed his full attention.
Booko and Sanchez joined “The Valley” as original cast members when it premiered in 2024, chronicling their move to Santa Clarita alongside fellow Bravo veterans Kristen Doute, Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor. Lala Kent and Tom Schwartz joined the ensemble in later seasons.
Speculation has already surfaced online that Scheana Shay could step into the cast for Season 4, though Bravo has not confirmed any casting changes. A network representative had not responded to a request for comment as of Tuesday night.
