The adventure of the adorable furry cat from Blue Twelve Studio and Annapurna Interactive has stolen the hearts of many gamers. Players eagerly rushed to check out the game on the day of its release.
Stray was debuted yesterday on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC. This independent studio has huge reasons to be happy – the game dedicated to the cat protagonist won the favor of reviewers, and its average is 84%.
There are many indications that the scheduling of the release date for the fire season and a very encouraging promotional campaign has encouraged many video game enthusiasts to play the game.
Blue Twelve Studio’s title is experiencing capitalized interest! On Steam Stray was checked by almost 62,963 players at the best time yesterday and ranked among the most popular productions.
With this, the game set in a futuristic metropolis is the biggest PC launch in the history of Annapurna Interactive’s operations and beat such titles as Twelve Minutes, Journey and Outer Wilds.
Industry analyst Benji Sales highlighted that such a strong result was rather expected from a AAA game than a proposal from an independent studio – so the developers have all the more reason to celebrate.
Now over 60,000+ Concurrent Players for Stray on Steam
I absolutely cannot over emphasize how incredible these numbers are for an indie title. These numbers are much closer to what a successful AAA titles reach. HUGE hit for Annapurna Interactive and BlueTwelve Studio https://t.co/B8TbOKExta pic.twitter.com/2LSGNzIQQo

We should remember that Stray is also available on PlayStation consoles, but the publisher has so far not shared the results from consoles. But we can safely assume that the result will be equally satisfying – after all, the game has been added to the PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium catalog.
