Mundfish’s commitment to providing post-launch support for Atomic Heart remains steadfast with the recent release of patch 1.4.0.0 for PC and consoles.

This update is quite comprehensive, featuring a slew of new features, most notably the 120 fps mode for PS5, Xbox Series X, and S. The most significant addition to the game is undoubtedly the new 120 fps mode for consoles.

However, it’s worth noting that this feature is only available on televisions with HDMI 2.1 support, and the developers cannot guarantee that the game will run at a constant 120 fps.

Moreover, the resolution target for this mode hasn’t been disclosed yet. The patch also includes the ability to customize the size of interface elements and subtitles to your liking, which is a welcome addition for many players who found the font size too small.

Additionally, the update addresses an issue with unlocking some achievements, among other fixes. In the patch notes, which can be accessed here, you can also find information about other improvements, such as enhanced shadows and updated shaders.

The ability to loot bodies found in water has also been introduced, and numerous known issues have been resolved, including problems related to certain quests.

Overall, Atomic Heart’s latest patch is a substantial update that introduces new features while addressing various known issues.

The inclusion of a 120 fps graphics preset for consoles is undoubtedly the standout feature, but the ability to customize interface elements and subtitles is also a notable addition.
