In anticipation of the upcoming DreamSnaps update for Disney Dreamlight Valley, developer Gameloft has released the full patch notes, detailing exciting additions and improvements.
Starting from tomorrow, July 19th, players will have the pleasure of seeing Wreck-It Ralph’s spunky character, Vanellope, speeding into the valley. Accompanying her arrival are new Friendship Quests and a range of enticing items for players to earn.
Introducing DreamSnaps: Multiplayer Photo Challenges
One of the highlight features of the update is DreamSnaps, the game’s first multiplayer functionality. Players will now be able to participate in weekly photo challenges alongside fellow members of the Disney Dreamlight community.
Engage your creativity and compete for rewards, including Moonstones, furniture, and clothing items. It’s an opportunity to showcase your photography skills while enhancing your burgeoning kingdom.

In addition to the exciting multiplayer element, Gameloft has made several improvements throughout the game. Vanellope’s hovering ability has been optimized to reduce energy drain by approximately 80%, allowing players to make the most of their energy reserves.
Furthermore, the developer has disabled the video capture feature in the Nintendo Switch version to enhance stability and reduce crash rates. The team remains committed to monitoring the situation for further performance enhancements.
Gameloft has made efforts to refine the gameplay experience with rebalancing adjustments. The inventory of Scrooge McDuck’s Store has undergone tweaks to minimize the occurrence of duplicate items, though more comprehensive changes are being explored for future updates. Additionally, various bug fixes and quality of life improvements have been implemented to address issues reported by the community.
