Fortnite’s recent major update, version 28.10, brings a fresh twist to the game with new Bonus Reward styles for Battle Pass skins. More intriguingly, it unlocks the Solid Snake Battle Pass skin and themed cosmetics, obtainable through in-game quests. The inclusion of Solid Snake, a beloved character from the Metal Gear series, marks a significant crossover between two gaming giants.
Raiden, another prominent Metal Gear figure, joins Solid Snake in Fortnite’s universe. The addition of Raiden was initially revealed through dataminers and later confirmed by Epic Games in a promotional trailer. The trailer showcases Raiden de-camouflaging, hinting at the unique gameplay elements his presence will bring.
Raiden’s premium skin is set to feature two selectable styles, one with his iconic long blond hair and another masked variant, along with a katana weapon and themed wrap. However, fans looking forward to a more daring ‘naked Raiden’ variant will be disappointed, as Epic Games has chosen not to include this version.
The latest chapter of Fortnite, which debuted in December, has been one of the game’s most substantial updates since its launch in 2017. It introduced three permanent new modes – Lego survival, Rocket Racing, and Fortnite Festival – adding significant depth and variety to the gameplay.
