The last season of Netflix’s popular martial arts show Cobra Kai will start on November 15. The actor Yuji Okumoto promises that his character Chozen will have an interesting story. In upcoming shows, the character must decide how to balance his personal goals with his dedication to Miyagi-Do martial arts.
Okumoto said in a private talk that Chozen is still looking for happiness in his personal life while also taking care of his duties. One of the actors said, “He has a lot of unfinished business in Okinawa.” The main theme of his story will be putting young fighters’ training first, especially as they prepare for the Sekai Taikai competition.
“When we see what happens to him on his journey, he realizes now that the focus needs to be on the present, which is training the kids,” said Okumoto. This change is a big deal for Chozen, who has gone from an enemy to a key partner in the Miyagi-Do dojo.
The martial arts dojos face new problems in the second half of season six. Lewis Tan from the Iron Dragons will join the group as Sensei Wolf. Patrick Luwis and Rayna Vallandingham will also add new student characters to the show.
This installment includes five shows, and it is the middle part of the show’s final three-part season. Netflix has announced that the popular martial arts drama will end in 2025.
People who are used to seeing Ralph Macchio as Daniel LaRusso, William Zabka as Johnny Lawrence, and Martin Kove as John Kreese will return. There will also be more of the younger attackers, played by Tanner Buchanan, Peyton List, Xolo Mariduena, and Mary Mouser.
The show’s last few episodes will likely be based on Chozen’s journey, which combines his personal growth with his devotion to martial arts training and the Miyagi-Do philosophy.
