Play First Games and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment are starting another important stage in the development of the free-to-play brawler MultiVersus. Today players will be able to download the first part of the update, which will launch a fresh season of struggles.
What we do know is that the production will regularly receive new content – the newest banner suggests that Black Adam will be among the fighters.
In late July, developers launched an open beta of MultiVersus, a game that has been hugely popular with players for several weeks.
While the title is plagued by a number of ills, there’s no doubt that Play First Games has a chance to be quite successful – which will be helped by the already announced systematic updates adding more heroes and improvements. One patch was announced in the first half of August.
The newest banner advertising the Xbox brawler seems to confirm the new fighters – it refers to Black Adam and a gremlin named Stripe, who did quite a mess in the 1984 film.

If the reports turn out to be in line with the developers’ plans, the inclusion of a character known from the comic book universe would fit perfectly with the promotion of the DCEU show, after all “Black Adam” debuts in theaters on October 21.
Season 1 of MultiVersus gameplay will soon be released – as part of the update, the creators looked at the abilities of some characters (among other things, lowered the stats of Bugs Bunny, Velma and Finn, who were hard to defeat during battles), introduced improvements to the animation of the characters and their movements, also fixed bugs that appeared when using the abilities of other Warner Bros. characters.
Moreover, in the newest struggles Arya Stark, Batman, LeBron James and Steven Universe will be free – simultaneously, developers announced that on August 23 we can count on the addition of Morty.
The whole patch has been divided into two parts: the first one will be downloadable today, while in the coming days the studio will announce the next package.
