The November 9, 2022 is an important day for PlayStation console owners, as well as fans of the God of War series. After all, the latest installment is scheduled for release then, and will therefore be one of the last such big launches of the year.
In case you were concerned that the developers will once again push back the debut date, well, you shouldn’t have to!
The Santa Monica Studio’s Twitter account has confirmed that God of War Ragnarok has been fully completed and put to press.
What this means is that the game has earned “gold” status, which clearly almost confirms that the release is in no danger anymore.
We are thrilled to announce that #GodofWarRagnarok has gone gold!
On behalf of SMS and all of our partners, thank you to the fans for supporting us over the course of development. We’re almost to launch and can’t wait for you to play on November 9! 💙 pic.twitter.com/vptHyKJ1JP

So well done, we congratulate the developers for delivering on time and hope for a result at least as good as the previous part.
This does not mean, however, that the work for the studio is over. The game will be developed from now on in the form of post-release updates and patches. But we don’t know the details of post-release support or possible DLC.
Nevertheless, the adventure itself will be long enough that we should not worry about it at this point. In conclusion, we should just mention that GoW Ragnarok is going to be available for download (in the case of the digital edition) even a week before the release!
