Diablo 4 enthusiasts can now rejoice as Blizzard, the developer behind the highly anticipated game, has shed light on who can get their hands on the coveted Premium Battle Pass for free.
Adam Fletcher, Diablo 4’s community manager, took to Twitter on June 17 to address any confusion surrounding the upcoming battle pass.
In a tweet, Fletcher stated, “People that purchased [Diablo 4] Digital Deluxe and Ultimate Editions of the game receive one Premium Battle Pass unlock.” Players can activate this unlock via the Battle Pass menu after starting a seasonal character.
In addition to the clarification, Fletcher revealed that eligible players can claim the premium battle pass for Season 1, set to launch on July 20, or save it for a future season. This news sparked further inquiries from Diablo 4 players eager to learn more about the upcoming battle pass and its features.
Multiple Deluxe Editions Bring Extra Rewards
According to Fletcher’s responses on Twitter, players who purchased multiple Deluxe Editions of Diablo 4, such as one for console and one for PC, will receive two Premium Battle Pass unlocks. This generous offering allows them to use one unlock for Season 1 and save the other for a future season. Fletcher also hinted that the release times for Season 1 will be announced “in the coming days,” creating anticipation among fans.
For players who didn’t purchase the Deluxe or Ultimate Editions, the Premium Battle Pass is still within reach. It can be obtained separately for 1,000 Platinum ($9.99 / £8.39). Additionally, there’s the Accelerated Battle Pass, which Diablo 4 Ultimate Edition owners already have access to. Others can purchase it for 2,800 Platinum ($24.99 / £20.99).
Diablo 4 Digital Deluxe and Ultimate Edition owners have a special treat in store with a complimentary Premium Battle Pass, granting them access to exciting content in Season 1 and beyond.
