Regardless of how familiar one is to the world of cinema, there is no doubt that the name of Quentin Tarantino is one of those that is simply hard not to know or associate with.
This director managed to write big letters in the history of the industry, and the movies he was responsible for are now considered some of the greatest classics of the last few decades.
A man is also famous for never being afraid to say what he thinks. That is one of the reasons why the various interviews and conversations that are held with him attract so many viewers.
Similarly, there was his recent appearance on The Video Archivesm podcast where he made a rather unfavorable comment on the current state of cinema:
Although the 1980s was a time when I probably watched more films in my life than I ever have – at least in terms of going out to the movies – I feel that the cinema of the 1980s, along with the 1950s, is the worst era in Hollywood history. It is comparable only now, only currently.
well, this is definitely one opinion that many people will argue with – particularly in the context of the 1980s, which, for many, are associated with tremendous excitement and the beginning of entry into the wonderful world of cinema.
