Sons of the Forest has spent nearly a year in Early Access allowing the developers to refine and enhance the open-world survival mechanics while incorporating player feedback. The 1.0 release date was announced last November, signaling the end of major content updates as Endnight focused on preparing a complete experience.
The new trailer highlights some of these additions, like GPS mapping on vehicles and launching hang gliders from the ground.
