Focus Entertainment and Asobo Studio have taken their successful title, A Plague Tale: Requiem, to new heights with the introduction of a fresh update.
Released today, this update adds a new performance mode to the action-adventure game. Moreover, the cloud version for the Nintendo Switch is set to benefit from these enhancements starting next week.
Enhanced Performance on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X
Players embarking on the emotional journey through the game’s medieval world, now fraught with supernatural forces, will experience a smoother gameplay experience on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
The newly introduced performance mode enables support for 60 frames per second (fps). According to the developers, activating this option will minimally impact the overall visual quality.
Players who prefer not to compromise on visuals can continue using the classic resolution mode. However, the new 60 fps performance mode delivers a slightly reduced resolution with buttery smooth gameplay.
Expanded Graphics Customization for PC Players
The update also brings additional graphics options for PC players, allowing them to further fine-tune the game’s graphical performance.
Depending on their computer’s configuration, players can experiment with these new settings to maximize their gaming experience and enjoy A Plague Tale: Requiem’s visuals to the fullest extent.
In addition to the performance enhancements, the update addresses various bugs and issues across all platforms, including the Xbox Series S. These fixes aim to eliminate lingering errors and ensure a seamless gaming experience for players.
