The first major content pack is now available for Sniper Elite 5, featuring a paid expansion and a fresh free map.
The Sniper Elite 5 has been enriched with a free map Flooded Village, in which we can already fight in multiplayer modes. The mentioned clash arena was inspired by the villages of Normandy from the period during Operation D-Day. This map is available in all online modes, including No Cross.
Apart from the Flooded Village map, we also have a paid feature available. We are talking about the DLC “The Landing Force,” which is the first of the four add-on components in the Season. Everyone who has purchased the Season Pass is eligible to receive the add-on.
On the other hand, The Landing Force separately costs around $14.00. In this package we get a series of landing missions, a D.L. carbine and a PPSH submachine gun. The publisher describes the paid add-on in the following words:
“Move to the south of France, where the enemy has seized an island off the coast of Marseille, on which he has placed a huge battle battery. There is a great deal of activity by the Nazis at the site, and they have a harbor, a lighthouse and the ruins of a fortress there, as well as a host of fire positions that must be destroyed to help the Allied landing forces liberate southern France. You will have a new discreet D.L. carbine and a powerful PPSH submachine gun at your disposal during this mission. The carbine has a low rate of fire, but generates a noise below the sound barrier, which, combined with the integrated silencer, makes it an ideal weapon for silently eliminating enemies. In turn, the PPSH’s high rate of fire and large magazine provide tremendous firepower that has a devastating effect when fighting in confined spaces.”
Besides the new content, a patch is also waiting for Sniper Elite 5 owners, which fixes a number of bugs, restoring the normal functioning of first aid kits or problems with the Wolf Mountain mission, among others.
