Harebrained Schemes, the development studio behind popular games such as BattleTech and Shadowrun, is bringing us an exciting new tactical game called The Lamplighters League.
Drawing inspiration from the XCOM series, players can expect isometric views and turn-based action as they lead a group of skilled characters against the Banished Court, a dangerous cult threatening to take over the world.
Set in an alternative version of the 1930s, the game promises thrilling clashes with opponents that resemble Nazis, as players journey through shipyards, deserts, jungles, and urban settings like Indiana Jones.
As the commander of the Lamplighters League, players must equip their team members with advanced skills, gear, and upgrades to keep pace with the growing threat.
Similar to XCOM, players will need to manage global elections to thwart the enemies’ insane intentions, all while enjoying the game’s stylized graphic design.
With every agent’s feat and foul play available for tactical use, players must use their cunning to come out on top in the game’s thrilling turn-based combat.
The Lamplighters League is set to release later this year on PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store, as well as on Xbox Series X/S with immediate availability on Game Pass.
