Tyler Perry is taking his shows to more viewers by launching two new channels on streaming services you probably use all the time! BET just announced the arrival of BET Tyler Perry Comedy and BET Tyler Perry Drama channels on FAST platforms like Pluto TV, Roku, Freevee, and more.
These new channels will feature over 600 hours of Tyler Perry content from all his popular shows on BET over the years. You’ll find marathons and clips from hits like Sistas, The Oval, House of Payne, Ruthless, Zatima, and Assisted Living. Even more shows like Meet the Browns, The Haves and the Have Nots, and Too Close to Home will be added later.
BET president Louis Carr said this launch is a big moment in their partnership with Perry. It will let more Black audiences enjoy Tyler Perry’s work and offer more viewing options. The shows being free with ads makes them super accessible too.
This comes after news earlier this year that BET would syndicate Perry’s library to streaming, cable, and broadcast platforms. And Perry recently renewed his deal with BET, bringing more seasons of fan favorites plus a new series!
