Yesterday Sony invited gamers to watch EVO – a special coverage will be held at the event, where there will be no shortage of news announcements from major publishers and developers that are developing the genre.
Also included in the list was Warner Bros. Games, which has sparked speculation about a possible announcement of Mortal Kombat 12.

However, Ed Boon quickly commented on the matter and denied the news – as his team will not be participating in the event to present the new game. Head of NetherRealm Studios has mentioned that currently Street Fighter, among others, should be in the limelight.
This situation seems as easy to understand and predictable as possible. Both Sony and Capcom are likely to promote Street Fighter 6, which is where all the audience’s attention should be focused.
The game is likely to debut by the end of the current fiscal year, according to many rumors, and this would be reflected in the projected results of the Japanese manufacturer and publisher.
In line with recent unconfirmed reports, NetherRealm Studios is developing Mortal Kombat 12, which will be released exclusively on PC and current-generation consoles.
