The filmmaking crew and the cast members are slowly making their way onto the set of “Fallout,” a series under development for Amazon Prime Video. The director has already confirmed the very first day of work in progress and the production shots are likely to delight IP enthusiasts.
This past July, Amazon Studios, Kilter Films, Bethesda Game Studios and Bethesda Softworks all announced their partnership on a new project expanding the Fallout universe.
We will still have to wait for more games set in the post-apocalyptic world, so maybe the upcoming production will meet fans’ expectations? For the final verdict we will have to wait until the first episodes are aired.
Jonathan Nolan (“Westworld,” “Interstellar,” “The Dark Knight Rises”) is going to be in charge of directing the pilot episode of “Fallout,” while the series’ showrunners are equally experienced creators Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner.
The lead roles will be played by Ella Purnell and Walton Goggins – the cast also includes: Kyle MacLachlan, Aaron Moten and Xelia Mendes-Jones.
Meanwhile, the team is in the process of filming the first scenes of “Fallout,” and a video showing some of the set design has been posted online. On the footage we can see the atmospheric Super Duper Mart, which has been used by players in many installments of the series.
