In October 2022, CD Projekt and CD Projekt RED announced the development of three new games set in The Witcher universe. One of these games, Project Sirius, is being developed by The Molasses Flood studio, which was recently acquired by CD Projekt.

At the time of the announcement, it was revealed that the game would feature both multiplayer and single player elements, but no further information was made available until recently.

According to a Reddit user named Awkward96, who discovered updated job listings from the developers, more information about Project Sirius has now come to light.

The job listings, which are seeking a senior world designer from CD Projekt RED and a senior combat designer and story director from The Molasses Flood, hint at an immersive, non-linear narrative for the game.

The inclusion of a senior multiplayer designer, with the job listing mentioning a class system, social activities, and both co-op and PvE elements, also suggests that the multiplayer aspect of the game will be extensive and varied. This news has excited fans of The Witcher universe, who are eager to learn more about Project Sirius and what it has in store.

Project Sirius, which is a highly anticipated video game project, seems to be offering a role for a technical designer. This suggests that the game will have elements that are generated procedurally.

However, it’s important to note that the development of the game is still in its very early stages, according to recent reports.

Even back in October, when the announcement of the project was made, it was still in the pre-production phase, indicating that it will require a significant amount of time and effort before it becomes a finished product.

This highlights the need for patience for fans who are eagerly waiting for the release of the game, as it’s still a ways off from being completed.
