In a surprising turn of events, Payday 3’s stealth trailer managed to elude the game’s community for several days, slipping by unnoticed until developer Starbreeze Studios finally pulled back the curtain on its latest tease. If you’re eagerly awaiting the chance to engage in covert heists with your friends in Payday 3, you won’t want to miss this intriguing new trailer for the upcoming co-op game.

According to YouTube, the stealth trailer for Payday 3 was actually made available on July 11, but it took players a good four days to stumble upon it. With a simple description that read “Shhh…” and the video itself unlisted, it’s no wonder that this secret footage managed to fly under the radar. However, there were a couple of clever ways to uncover its hidden presence.

Payday 3

A Stealthy Search: Hunting for Clues

Despite the stealth trailer’s existence, it remained undetected or overlooked by the community, leaving Starbreeze Studios growing impatient. Taking to Twitter, they playfully commented, “For a community who claims to love easter eggs, you sure are taking a while finding our last one,” accompanied by a watch and a thinking face emoji.

The studio then followed up with a rhyming riddle, providing a clearer hint on how players could track down the teaser. “We have shown you violent, now we try to show you silent; think not like in a riot but try to be quiet; start at the page, turn down the gauge; or simply drop the burrito and go…”

Unveiling the Secrets: Stealth Trailer Revealed

One option involved turning down the volume on the gameplay trailer found on the Payday 3 website, gradually revealing the stealth trailer overlaying it. The other, more straightforward method, referred to as “drop the burrito,” led players to go incognito by visiting the website using their web browser’s private browsing mode. This would replace the gameplay trailer with the elusive stealth trailer.

While it’s surprising that no one stumbled upon these methods naturally, the video has now been discovered and is available for those who prefer a more direct approach. We’ve included it below for those who would rather skip the legwork.

Embracing the Shadows: Payday 3’s Stealthy Gameplay

Although Payday 3’s stealth gameplay is expected to provide an exciting solo experience, the lead producer confirms that an online connection will still be required, even for players opting for a solitary adventure.

As for us, we are eagerly looking forward to stealthily navigating alongside my friends, although past experiences suggest it may not always go according to plan. With the game set to launch on PC Game Pass, at least I’ll have plenty of companions by my side.
