It is often said that nowadays it is difficult to find classic versions of jRPG games anymore. In fact, the technology is moving forward and productions that would refer to the iconic installments of years ago are already more the domain of indie developers and it is difficult to find such on a larger scale.
However, Indie does not mean weak or done on the cheap. The last year has already shown that certain productions can boldly stand up to high-budget AAA.
One of the titles that could turn out to be this year’s dark horse will be Sea of Stars, announced at last year’s PlayStation Indies show, held in July.
At the time, it was also announced that the title will be released in 2023, though without any specifics. But now we can confirm that the game, representing a laurel to the classics of the genre, will make its debut during the holiday season! And this is always some concrete!
Obviously, it is not yet a specified day or even month, but it is always a clue that allows you to have a reference point in your head – and that’s a cool thing for those waiting anyway.
